cabral, my man, you need to dump that 7-stride start. it aint quicker than eight, and you're not carrying good inertia off the first hurdle.
the race is to the finish line, not the first hurdle. you want that extra "dig" step/stride at the start to help with overall acceleration during the first half of the race. you need to be accelerating HARD coming off that first hurdle, AND THE 7-STRIDE START IS NOT ALLOWING YOU TO DO THAT. CAN IT!
